Bishop Magaret Wanjiru wins souls in Nairobi
Several years ago, the Lord took Bishop Margaret on a nine hour vision, in which He revealed to her the vision: "Africa Shall Be Saved". Jesus Is Alive Ministries (JIAM) was born out of this vision. Since that time, Bishop Margaret has focused all her energy and resources to the fulfillment of this vision.

Before salvation, Bishop Margaret was involved in very high hierarchies of Satanism through witchcraft.

When she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ she realized that even though she was saved, she suffered a lot of demonic attacks.

In despair she started to pray and fast asking God to help her and even at a young spiritual age the Lord spoke to her and told her she needed deliverance so as to be set free from the demonic attacks.

In pursuit for deliverance she realized that in those days many church ministers did not believe in deliverance. Most of them advised that once you are born again there will be no affliction from the devil. Here she was born again but yet tormented.

Finally she managed to find a ministry that ministered deliverance to her even though they did not have much knowledge. For a while she was at peace. She had learnt the basics of deliverance but the spiritual attacks would keep on coming back.

One day, she decided enough is enough, the devil must go in Jesus name. She started a long fast and during that fast the Lord referred her to Psalms 144:1 'Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight'.

With this word in her heart now she knew that God would teach her what she needed to learn to be able to overcome the demonic attacks and spiritual warfare that she was going through.

Vision
The mission statement of Jesus Is Alive Ministries and the Nairobi Miracle Center Church is to reach the world with the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

The fulfillment of this mission is implemented by evangelizing the unsaved, setting the captives free, teaching Christians worldwide how to live a victorious life through the Word of GOD.

We are called to bring salvation, healing, deliverance, prosperity, redemption and righteousness to all the nations of the world.

We proclaim that "JESUS IS ALIVE" and that He is sitting in the heavenly places at the right hand of GOD the father, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:20-23).

The vision is being accomplished through the joint efforts of JESUS IS ALIVE MINISTRIES, NAIROBI MIRACLE CENTER CHURCH , and the staff on a worldwide scale, through the use of television, radio, crusades, conferences, books and tapes.

This ministry has increased through the prayers and financial support of partners and other ministries of the same purpose.
