Congratulations your Holiness on the special occasion of your birthday. How important is your birthday to you?
My birthday celebration does not depend on whether it is important or not. If somebody is born into the world, he is born on a particular day. And a key thing to grasp is that that day is remembered, especially when that person is a very important gift to mankind and when that person is a very important gift to mankind and when that person is very very important person to every person that comes his way.

So it is good that he is remembered, the day he was born is remembered. It's a wonderful day to mankind and to the family where he came out from and to every person that knows him. So, we are not talking of whether it is important to anybody or not. Anybody has the right to celebrate his own birthday anyway. So, it is our own, we are celebrating.

Last year, it was indeed grand. Members of CPA were all over the city of Lagos and beyond, mobilizing Nigerians to come and receive healing and miracle. What are we expecting this year?
If my children want to invite the whole world, that is their business. All I know is that on my birthday, I will give gifts to my children. It's what I have that I will give. So, in the book of Acts of Apostle when Peter was entering the church of God , and a man said "give me money, give me silver or gold". And Peter said silver and gold, I have none, but what I have I will give. So, that is my special day of giving gifts to' my children. '

Number one is that, any person that thinks that there is no cure for certain diseases in the world, then the person is just deceiving himself. I want to let you know that there is cure for every disease under the sun. And remarkably on my birth­day; there is no person that carries here with sickness that will go with the same sickness. It has been the normal thing since 1999.

Any day my birthday is' celebrated, you see the cripple standing up from their chairs and walking, you see even blind people opening their eyes. So, this particular Saturday, we expect something even far beyond that one. We are not appealing to everybody to come there. No. It is not "c9me one, come all" If you think you care to have your cure for your disease especially when it affects your blood, viral diseases and bacterial infections, you just make yourself available that. place that day.

Is there any message for the Nigerian nation on your birthday?
Well, I think if Nigeria wants a message, they should go to the house of God and hear from God. So, I don't have to comment on that.

When I said this I also mean like the leader­ship, a lot of things are going wrong in the country. What about word of advice, word of direction?
As a matter of fact, I'm celebrating my birthday on February 26, 2005 and it will take place on that same Saturday, 1O.OOpm, till dawn. My birth­day is why I granted this interview.

This is not the first time the birthday is being celebrated. What was it like in previous years? Were there miracles that shook the nation or shook the church or shook the city?
Well, if miracles shook the nation or shook the Church or shook the city, at least, you journalists win know. So I will not answer such a question. If you think you have. a need, a cure for your disease, and you have been doubting that your disease is curable, you have been doubting the possibility of the disease being cured or may be you are diagnosed incurable, you make yourself available and even if you don't want to believe, just be there and you'll not see the disease again. I am not interested in shaking nation or shaking bucket or shaking plantain and shaking bread.

The business is not trying to convince journalists (hat people were healed. The issue is that they are happy that God gave them back their health. So, we are happy with them, because they got back their health. We don't care whether journalists took the information because we are not paid, you don't come to give us money. Even if journalists talk to me and mess up, I will get them sued. I am not a friend to journalists at all. I don't try to impress anybody.

Even on this special occasion?
I'm not a friend to anyone of them. If you think you want to write anything about us, you come to church and stay there and be baptized and become a born-again and worship with us for 10 good years, so that you can write with authority, so that you can be sure of what you are writing, so that you can say you saw this, you saw that:

But if you want me to give money to one journalist and say promote us", they can go to hell with all those nonsense. I'm the person doing the work, me and my God. We do the work. I am the person to be paid, to be rewarded. And yet on that I don't take money. I don't take anything. So, why would I pay you to carry the news. Who are you?

Please, if Mr. Journalist is a blind man, he will come and have his eyes open and he can write that one by himself. I will not pay kobo. Let people buy their paper and pay them. So, it's not an issue of trying to convince anybody. They are not my friend anyway. Some of them may want to write any nonsense, it will not affect the man of God. Rather it may be blocking the opportunity of other people being healed arid cured. One day, the same journalist will have problem and come, the same person will cry for success. Yet we will not care, we will give.

There are people who argue that claims of healing in the churches are not scientifically and clinically verifiable. And even among Christians, there are some leaders who allege that their fellow pastors make false claims on miracles and healing.
Well, as a matter of fact it is not my business to know that a pastor doubts miracles. If a pastor doubts miracles, then he is not sent by God. That one is a proof that he is not a pastor. And if a human being will be trying to get scientific proof about healing and miracle, he should know that healing is not scientific. Even if it is scientific, does he have scientific proof before he came out of his mother's womb. Many people were born in gutter. Jesus himself was born in the house of animals.

There was no medical doctor there or nurse to certify that he was really born by Virgin Mary, by a virgin. There was no test to know whether she was a virgin. There was no midwife that came to cut the cord. The chief nurse that day was the animal, the goat in the place. The chief medical officer was the bull in the place. Then the wonderful hospital bed was the manger, where they put food for the animals. And the wonderful caretaker, Was the shepherd that came to see them.

If you've never seen anything called cellular phone, you will not have any need it, they manufacture one stupid thing. They create the need for it and they encircle everybody and pack people there. That is bondage. And I don't have one. I don't have telephone or anything like that, at all. I don't have these things. I don't care to have them. I have important things, I don't have those things.

Being a man of God, a prophet, means that the GO has already deprived himself of a lot of things. I mean there are a lot of things that ordinary people do that he will not do. And now there is this added burden of not communicating, not owning. a phone, not reading newspapers... somebody might argue that it is like self imprisonment.
Any person that says it is a mad person. God has no cellular phone. Angels have no cellular phone. Jesus had no cellular phone. I have no cellular phone. I don't care to have anything called telephone; it doesn't stop God from knowing the truth, or from knowing your name and whatever. I mean your fore­father had no telephone, but they lived their lives. Even your father did not have telephone and he lived, these things are trouble. That is bondage they have brought to the world. They manufacture one thing and create the market for it and they bind people to it.

Some cellular phones, even give the user cancer of the ear. That is sorrow. That is anti-Christ. Ordinary science. Human craft. What I am saying is not that people should not buy phones. It will depend on them (to choose what they want). Left to me, I don't need phone in the world. You don't even need all these things that people are just carrying about. If there is no phone, there must be a way that you can be communicating.

You have been living without it. Even some' years before now, we had no problem of knowing our brothers and our sisters, and it is even made us close to each other. But now, somebody will live in one country and will never know his father­land again forever. Because they said that they have phone. If it is a blessing from God, why must it give cancer to people? Why must people be crying that they don't have money to pay phone bill.

But you have to be careful not to speak evil against God, because, if you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, you will suffer. Hospital will fail one day. And they have been failing already. Today, you hear of strike, next tomorrow you hear strike. Hospital will just crash-land one day, but God will not fail. Like in my church, (CPA) about 99.9 per cent of the members don't go to the hospital. They don't fall sick.

If they don't go to the hospital, is it because the G.O said don't go, or is it that they are receiving healing?
It is none of my business. What I am telling you is that about 99.9 per cent of the Church members don't fall sick, they don't go to the hospital. And I don't care to explain to anybody the reason why. No, nobody has the power to know what I mean, nobody.

When you are interviewing me as a journalist or whatever, do not think that I want to entice any­body. I'm just responding because it's my birthday. I must have to respond. And nobody has power or right to tell me how to worship my God. Nobody has the power or right to know. I say anything I want to say fearlessly, because I have the right and power to say what I want to say.

Anybody who doesn't know His Holiness very well and reads this last explanation would naturally ask: If the. GO does not have all these communication gadgets, how then does he communicate with his relations, with his friends, with his church members and other people? How does God communicate with his people? So that is the question, I will ask the person. How does God talk to them?

What message do you have for your followers, to people who would like to be in the church on the February 26 after reading this interview?
As a matter of fact, what I have is still that same thing that I have for mankind, that all the needs of mankind have been satisfied in the Lord Jesus. So I want to let every unbeliever know that thinking negatively about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and His Holiness, The Most Hon. Dr. Rev. King, will not help them, but will destroy them more and more.

Because if you are thinking negatively about God, it will not stop God from being God. God is God. It doesn't matter what you think about Him. Now, if you think negatively about Jesus, it doesn't change Him from being the son of God. Whatever you may want to think, that's your business. On the last day, you will perish. If you don't, if you think negatively about the Holy Spirit, it doesn't change Him. Rather, it puts you in bondage, it doesn't change me. I am that I am. What I am is what I am. And God has made me to be that.

So, I mean whatever you want to think about me, r care less. If you see me in the morning, I am His Holiness, in the afternoon, His Holiness, in the evening, His Holiness. I am happy. I am a believer, I am a born-again. So I am happy. Let them know it in their hearts. So if you still want to think more against God, against His people, act more against God and His people, you cannot act. Let anybody try.

And I want to let every human being on earth know that Christianity is not a religion. It is not a religion. Following Jesus, following me, is not a religion. It is every human being's compulsory way of life. It is compulsory that you must follow Him because without Him, you will perish.

So, I mean, no religion. It is not a matter of this man is an idolater, okay, tolerate him because everybody has to tolerate the other religion. No, no, no. If you think you love your neighbour in this world, you tell him the truth. Jesus commanded that we shall love our neighbours, love even the enemies. The love for the enemy is to tell the enemy the truth.

So what is the truth? That if you follow any other way apart from Jesus, you will perish. This is the truth. You cannot subtract Jesus, you cannot sub­tract me in this world, and have joy. No way. Try now! That is the message I have for my children. Everybody has to pack their belongings, bags and baggage and run to Jesus. He is the' only way. And where do you get him? In His Kingdom, where His Son reigns. He is there in CPA. So, we are not against people campaigning. against CPA. We don't care. Their powers are broken.

So, how do people who are in other parts of the world and people Who are not Christians or not Nigerians, get this message that His Holiness has just given about locating the Kingdom and locating His Son in CPA?
Jesus Christ of Nazareth did not have to think of how they would hear it. It is' not my business how they will hear it. It doesn't concern me. It has been' commanded Take the message to the whole world. So you journalist should take it to the place by yourself. But I am not here to persuade any­body. If they hear, okay. If they don't hear, that is their business. One day they will hear. That's all. God knows how to do that.

One controversy that has been raging in the society, especially in Lagos is: Is he or is he not, the one (Jesus Christ) we are expecting?
It is none of my business. How did St. Peter know the Lord Jesus By revelation? They said that Emmanuel shall be born, and when he was born, He was called Jesus. So how did they now know that he was the Emmanuel? It is by revelation.

And Jesus told them that the world cannot have the Holy Spirit. So you don't have the Holy Spirit by writing Jesus is Lord on your door or by organising a group and calling it Christ Church, where you confuse people and deceive them. No work of God. You don't open a church and campaign against people that God gave power so that will you get followership you will get followership, but you will perish with your followership on the last day.
