HAIL MARY Luke 1:26-28

Welcome to the sixth month of the year. Numbers are very symbolic in the bible, for instance
Number one stands for beginning,
Two for partnership,
Three represents the trinity and divinity.
Four is the number for balance.
Five is the number for grace,
Six is the number for man.
Seven is the number for fullness, completion and perfection.
Eight is the number for new beginning,
Twelve is the number for administration – Jesus had twelve Apostles and there were twelve tribes in Israel !

Man was created on the 6th day. Surprisingly, animals were created before man, they were created on the 5th day – Gen 1:20-25. I prophesy that your job will be created within this 6th month. Something new is about to happen to you, because JUNE means “Justified Under NEW Experience”.

Turn with me to the Gospel According to Luke Chapter 1, Lets read from verse 26: “And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee , named Nazareth , to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:26-28  

First of all, I want you to notice that the bible says the visitation of Mary was in the “sixth month”. Receive this prophecy: In this sixth month of the year, you will be visited with good news, increase, honour and promotion, lift your hands and shout halleluyah!

The angel Gabriel was sent to Mary in the sixth month. God is sending people your way before this month is over, and anything or anyone sent to you by the devil will not locate you this year. Armed robbers will not locate you, assassins will not locate you, witches will forget your address, trouble will not locate you, dismissal, redundancy, retrenchment will not locate you. Miscarriage will not locate you, disappointment will not locate you. Bad market will not locate you, accident will not locate you. Phone thieves will not locate you, academic carry-over will not locate you. Insult will not locate you, police will not look for you this month. If you believe it raise your hands and shout the loudest halleluyah.  

The angel greeted Mary “Hail”. The word Hail is taken from the greek word “chairo” It is a primary verb; it means to be “cheer”ful, i.e. calm, happy or well-off; Its used especially as salutation on meeting or parting, be well :- farewell, be glad, God speed, greeting, hail, joyfully, rejoice etc.

Nowadays, it is common to hear people say in pidgin English “Bros I dey hail o”. Can you turn to a neighbour, find out his/her name and hail the fellow with that name: Hail Emeka, Hail Patrick, Hail Elizabeth ! Your colleagues will hail you this year!

In science, Birth without sexual intercourse is called “parthenogenesis”, and Jesus was the only person who fulfilled that in history. The conception and birth of Jesus stands as a disgrace to biology till today. May your prosperity disgrace poverty. May your healing humiliate scan and x-ray results. As I lay hands on you today, the anointing will overrule the diagnosis and prognosis. HIV status will change, sickness will leave your body. The lump in your breast will melt like wax. Mary's womb was rented for nine months.

The angel said “thou art highly favoured”. This is the only place in scripture where the bible mention “high favour”. You will not escape high favour this month, what you are not qualified for, shall be given to you. Can you say a big amen.

Mary was castigated and persecuted because of her condition. I don't know what you are going through, but let me encourage everyone listening to me now in this auditorium, (whether you are reading this message in the taxi, at home or on the internet), without the adversary, there will be no anniversary, no deliberation, no celebration, no challenger, no crown. No sweat, no sweet, No lion, no honey (Judges 13:6,8). No oil without squeezing the olives, no wine without pressing the grapes, no fragrance without crushing the flower. When you feel “squeezed”, God is bringing out the best in you.  

Mary was not the only sister around, but Heaven singled her out. Infact she was one of the six people in scripture who bore that name. May God single you out for employment this month. May your company letter-heard be singled out this month for contract, may your CV be singled out, may your womb be singled out for twins this year. May your phone number be singled out for special calls this month.

Just like Jesus singled out Peter's boat, may your crumbling business be singled out for visitation this month. May the interview panel single you out from other applicants. You will find favour with the Government tenders board. Thus says the Lord, many people will be employed without interview! If it is you, can you shout a big amen. Stand on your feet, let me begin to minister.

Lift your two hands up and get ready for the power of God now …
