I believe that Prof. Pat Utomi, having come thus far in understanding the political economy of Nigeria can continue where the President has stopped in the reform process. He represents certain core values in the academia, business and the professional world. He is a good candidate for the position and I trust he will perform.
Emeka Omambala,
Abuja Nigeria,

We don't need to bother ourselves about his chances. Can he play the politics the way they are playing it? We know him: a good man, an egg head, he has good intentions but can he make it? Will these thieves in Abuja allow him?
Matthew Okogene,
Port Harcourt Nigeria.

Reading this interview, I'm happy that he is a Christian. But for Utomi to make it to Aso Rock, he needs to be more rugged. He is competing against known criminals, wealthy vagabonds, thugs and all sorts. I think he is too refined to play politics the way these people pay it now. He should keep his money.
But I dare say, if EFCC does it work the way it should be done and these criminals are disqualified, Utomi and Okotie stands a chance. Their saviour is EFCC disqualifying these professional politicians who have stolen so much.
Segun Aladekemi,
Lagos Nigeria.

Let us pray that EFCC disqualifies some people then Utomi will stand a chance. I am happy that our politics is attracting his likes. I congratulate him for showing up. He has said much on Patito's Gang. Let us give him a chance to put all his theories into practise.
Dr. Solomon Orafidiya,
Kaduna Nigeria.

I have no information about his party and the structure he has on ground. Utomi should let us know his plans. Some of us here at Ife will like to join his campaign itinerary.
Olasile Bosede,
Ife.

It was the biggest news to me when I read that Prof Utomi will be showing up for elections. For the first time in Nigeria, we have a credible candidate. Not the thieves masquerading as professional politicians. Let us hope that Nigerians will wake up to take this chance.
Funke Olamide,
Jos.

Please give us a more relevant interview. Concentration on his Christianity at this juncture will not help matters. Let us know why he is contesting and what he intends to do. Not Christianity. People have fooled us enough with Christianity.
Dapo Sanya,
Minna Niger state Nigeria.

Tell him not to have god-father. He should learn from the likes of Ladoja and Ingige. Give us a more timely interview.
Dan Dada,
Lagos.

My friends and I were so glad when we read of Pat's intention to contest Nigeria's presidential elections. We like to form some kind of organisations here in New York to drum up support for him. How could we liaise with him? What party is he joining or is he forming his own party? Who are his people? What structures has he on ground? We are glad to read your magazine but give us more information about him. Best Wishes, Pat.
Ibrahim Barde,
New York,
USA.

Please give us more information about Professor Pat Utomi. Has he any website? Let him develop one to give us adequate stories about him, his vision and his presidential ambition.
Mrs. Ebun Oloyede,
Natal, SA.

This story does not give us adequate information about is political ambition. Please give us a fresh interview on him. I have read this story in your first edition.
Bayo Efunnuga,
Lagos Nigeria.

What party is he? I hope not one of these chop-I-chop parties in Africa. May the Lord give him discernment to know and do that which is right in His sight. Amen.
Segun Olofinjana,
Mo, USA

Very good that a brilliant man like Pat will be contesting. How I wish Nigerians know the worth of this man? I hope he will not dash our hopes. I hope he will live up to the standard of a Christian he is. I appreciate this story because it has given me an insight into the workings of his mind. However, let us know more of his family, wife, children.
Edochie Kennedy,
Calabar, Nigeria.

Having people like Pat contesting against the likes of Babangida and Buhari will reveal who Nigerians are. When we have such options, we will now know if our problems is that of leadership or followership. We will see if Nigerians can decide right or not.
Kunle Aromolaran,
USA.

How I wish he wins so we could see how he would transform his theories into realities.
Joseph Salami,
Lagos.

Win elections in Nigeria? Let us pray for him. Good people don't win elections in Nigeria. Can he sleep on the same bed with Mantu? Can he eat from the same bowl with Adedibu? Can he share a plate of rice with Tokoya? Haba! Pat cant win elections in Nigeria. However, I congratulate him on his good intentions.
Oyinlola Adelanwa,
Ile-Ife Nigeria.

What party is he joining or is he forming his own party? I hope we would not begin to see another Utomi after he becomes a Nigerian politician. I hoe he would not be like that when he joins them.
Shirley Kalio,
Port Harcourt Nigeria.

At this material time, we need a more timely interview. Ask him questions about politics, what he wants to do if given a chance and how he hopes to get majority of the illiterate masses to vote him. This interview is more on faith. We want to read about his politics.
Niran Osho,
Ondo Nigeria.

What is his website? Who is he?
Kayo Farah.
Kenya

I will vote for him if he contests.
Sally Uba,
Bauchi.

How will he convince the largely illiterate North that he could deliver? Or is Pat merely positioning himself for appointment? I hope not.
Bawa Garba,
Bauchi.

May God give us more courageous people like Pat.
Salmon Tarok,
Makurdi Nigeria.

Its a great news for me and my family that for once, we are having a credible candidate. Let us help him with prayers that he might win and save us from the foolishness of those mouthing presidency as if its their fathers property.
Sam Okpanachi,
Bida Niger State
Nigeria.

If Nigeria must develop, we must give Pat Utomi and his like a chance. These are the untainted people we need in this politics, not the over-used spent forces around us. May The Lord bless his dream.
Danladi,
Kafancha, Nigeria.

We need to try new hands, new ideas people like Pat Utomi represents. having watched his Patito's Gang on tv, I suppose we need to give him the support we need if we must change our focus in Nigeria.
Toun Olatunde,
Lagos.

I don't really think Pat stands a chance, not with the like of Babangida, Buhari, etc. etc who have perfected rigging and all sorts of vices. Can Pat donate money, attend weddings, become a chief, turbaned in Sokoto or Kano like they do? I don't think Pat is ready for this politics. Let him keep his money.
Julius Obaseki,
Benin Nigeria.

Questions for Pat Utomi:
How many chieftaincy titles have you?
How many weddings of the big men children have you attended?
Do you play polo or belong to one of the big men clubs?
Have you been a commissioner, house member, etc before?
How many cars have you?
Do you have a fat account filled with stolen money?
Are you friendly with all the ambassadors, high commissioners?
If you have none of these things, don't think of becoming Nigeria's president.
Bola Solarin,
Lagos.

I believe Prof. Pat Utomi will deliver. I have read a lot about him and i think he is the right candidate to take over power. I believe he can meet up with the expectations of Nigerians unlike the pen robbers in Agbada and babanriga. HELLO NIGERIANS: Its high time we voted in the right man in person of Prof. Pat Utomi.
Prince Emeka Francis,
Nigeria
