Interesting to find a man like this. If it were to be others, they would have been jealous of their wives success and cut her short.

One question I ask is will this man not re-marry? Will he not fall into sin by determining to remain alone till death? Time will tell but we need to uphold in him prayers. His ministry has touched so many souls. He must not fall because Pastor Bimbo passed on to glory.
Yinka Olatile,
Palm groove Lagos Nigeria.

I have no doubt in me that thousand of ladies will be waiting for him to make up his mind if he will marry again. Such is Nigerian ladies.
Dunni
Lagos.

I don't advise him to get married again. It will destroy Pastor Bimbo's memory in us. But fact is, he is free to re-marry by Christian rules.
Kike Antoni-Jolayemi,
Lagos.

Nobody can decide for him. Let him make up his mind. If Ayo Oritsejafor could re-marry, if Chris Okotie could divorce, if Clarence McCledon of Harvest Church in the US could divorce, nothing stops Pastor Taiwo from re-marrying. But let us pray for him that the Lord will uphold him in his decisions.
Ngozi,
Enugu Nigeria.

After three grown-up children, what does he want again? No, this man should not break our hearts by marrying another woman.
Aminat Alfa,
Jos.

Such is life with men. If a woman loses her husband, she might remain alone for life. But men, under some years, you begin to think of getting another woman to sleep with. Too bad.
Anike, Lagos.

Until he speaks on re-marrying before we could speak on this. I'm sure this man is not thinking of issues like this. He must still be in shock, though he might not want to confess this publicly. Let bus leave him alone. Its too early to speak on re-marrying.
Sola Ogunyinka,
Lagos.

I am not surprised that majority of the comments here are by women. Leave this man alone.
Those of you who want to replace Pastor Bimbo, go and search for your own husbands and your own ministries. If you want to inherit her clothes, I'm sure you know Pastor Bimbo left behind two grown up daughters. The clothes have been shared already.
Speaking seriously, leave the man alone for now.
Olayemi Sogunle,
Abeokuta Nigeria.

The lady will not be happy that her man marries again. At least I will not. I think they were too close for that.
Biola, London

Anike got it wrong. Not all men will marry again and not all women will remain alone after losing their husbands. At least, Bishop Bola Odeleke of Power Pentecostal Church, Okota, Lagos did not. She married and married and married until she could marry no more. (No pun intended please)
Isaac
Lagos

What is wrong in re-marrying after the death of a wife? if the man has the capacity and finance, he should proceed.
Mason,
New York.

If he does not get married again, we will soon be hearing stories of escapades. That is the problem with Chris Okotie today. I advise Pastor Taiwo to get married again so we don't hear stories that will destroy his ministry. This is a 'discovery' for him.
Dotun Opabola,
Ilupeju, Lagos Nigeria.

If Paul could stay single for life, why not him? Let him emulate Paul.
Moses Ngugi,
Nairobi Kenya.

It was with pain I received the news of her death last year. However, I have gone over that now. But on this marrying issue, this will show us the true state of his love for his wife. Time will tell.
Agunsoye Omolade, (Mrs)
Cape Town.

You people should leave the man alone. The decision is between him and his children. But at just above 50, I think he is too young to stay alone. He is not an eunuch, you know. And there are fine girls in Lagos. If he does not chase them, they will chase him.
Esther Okanlawon,
London

Hello all,
Please everybody along this thread should stop this re-marrying stuff. The respected and respectable pastor has not given a hint on
re-marrying and there is nothing in this story that suggests he is re-marrying. So please stop this thread of discussion. Further response on re-marrying will not be published. Caution please.
Editor.

I suppose this should be a democracy where we are free to air our views. Don't censure us or we will not come back to this site.
Newton, New York

Yes Newton, we are in a democracy and you have a right to speak and be heard. But when your right will put me into trouble, I have a right to stop you.
Thanks, Editor.

I always have pain in me that I did not remain a virgin till marriage. It has reduced my estimate of myself each time I read that Pastor Bimbo married as a virgin. What i did not achieve, I hope my two daughters and one boy will. My two daughters especially because the game is not the same for men and women. I pray that the virtues she lived, preached and died for will not perish. Amen.
Adebola Theophilus, Plaistow, London

There is no way a man could remain a virgin in a country like US where sex is the order of the day. SEX is used to advertise everything, from toothpaste to motor spare parts. Even in church, sex. We need to redefine virginity and we need to re-preach it. Many of the so called virgins have been dis-virgined in their minds. So who is a true virgin?
Mason, New York.

When some of us got disvirgined, this born-again stuff have not started. So what regret should I have that I married without being a virgin? Moreover, mum was not there for me. But thank God that I know Christ today.
Olayemi Sogunle, Abeokuta Nigeria.

Parents, the society and the Church always expect their female wards to remain virgin but they don't speak to their male children on that same virtue. If we leave the boys to be wayward, how then could we expect virgins amongst the girls? Are the boys sleeping with animals? This amounts to double standard.
That Pastor Bimbo and her mum married as virgin does not mean her children will. I am not cursing them, never will I, but such virtues or values depend on individual. For me, pre-marital sex mean nothing to me. I did it at a time I never knew what I was really doing. But thank God for the blood of Jesus that has taken my sins away. I am today a born-again virgin.
Kike Antoni-Jolayemi, Lagos.

I am not saying Pastor Bimbo was lying that she married a virgin. But let her widower confirm that before we can preach it, using her as an example of VTM (Virgin Till Marriage) No sentiments please.
Newton, New York .

Kike should stop deceiving herself. Once disvirgined you remain like that forever. There is nothing like born-again virgin. You African's with funny theories.
Newton, New York.

Newton, please do not desecrate our memory of our late Pastor. I am sure this is not the intention of this website. We believe our pastor was a virgin. She lived it. She preached it. We don't need her husband to come on pulpit to confirm it. Merely seeing her picture on wedding day will convince you that she was a virgin, that is if you have the discernment some of us have in Africa. This is what you call sentiment. Care to see her pictures? go to this site http://www.xtophotos.net/bimbo-1.htm
Yinka Olatile,
Palm groove Lagos Nigeria.

Newton is rude. What else do you expect of a ghetto bum in New York? In Africa, we are civilised please and we respect our pastors.
Kike, Lagos.
