In contemporary world, it takes hard work to dig a well until you get to the button where you constructively meet with water. Most especially in developing world where necessary machineries are not available for such work. In such ventures you appear to sweat profusely, tired and atoms exhausted.

You may a times lament and say Why me? Having been digging for quite some time without getting to the level bed of water. However I don’t know how long you have been digging and of course sweating and tired but I have got good news for you because today you are getting to the level beds of water.

The Book of Lamentation 3 1-18 has exhorted on what your experience look like when you are far from God, you experience affliction, sorrow & Darkness, you become extremely weak because of your broken bones, your enemies are not at peace with you and the storm roar against you. You dig your well so deep and may find no water-- oh, what a wasted venture because you are not at peace with God. 2 Peter 217-18

You work like an elephant and eat like an ant. We can see the enormity of your work but you have nothing to show for it in your bank account.

Do you Know that if you are not at Peace with God You Will Forget Prosperity.
If you ever experience one at all( Prosperity ) it will be accompanied with pains and sorrow because it is only the blessings of the Lord that maketh rich and added no sorrow. Obedience to God's word service to God as a Disciple, tithing and living a live void of sin receives God's award of Prosperity among other things like good health & Eternal rest with God in Paradise. ( Job 22 21-29) You are definitely blessed here on earth and you enter heaven in Abraham style.

If You dig without considering God, your enemies will laugh at you.
When you are digging and sweating because of exhaustion the enemy will not come, but when you are about to get to the beds of water and close to breakthroughs then the enemy will surface to take away and destroy your increase or Prosperity, most especially when you are not paying your tithe and offering in your local assemblies or when all you do is to struggle alone without the help and peace of God. Remember God had said without me you can do nothing. I am the Lord that giveth you Power to get wealth. Meditate on Judges 6 1-8, Deut 8-18.

You better then be wise to do it exactly like those Nehemiah army as they build the wall of Jerusalem, holding the instrument of war in one hand for the purpose of their personal protection and the other on the wall to continue the building. Can I suggest you hold God and His word in one hand and whatever (Your job, career Car, Marriage etc) on the other hand, to prevent enemies prevailing over you.

If you dig to the level of water it satisfies your soul.
Hagar was living together with Sarah and they were happy together until when pride secretly set in, because she had advantage of a firstborn to Abraham and called him Ishmael. She no longer felt she should continue as a maid but prefer the position of a wife, because at a point Sarah remain Barren. Although this may be out of contest but Sarah may have wished to send Ishmael an errand and Hagar refusing and may have said at least I have not made you Barren.

However this lead to enmity in the house as Sarah could no longer rival with Hagar and her son. As a bird at hand is better than two in the bush, Abraham was hesitant to release his only son Ishmael and God had to speak to Abraham in the language he understands. Ishmael is a son of the Flesh and Isaac unborn is a child of promise. Although Ishmael with be great but Isaac will be more Great, because of covenant and the promise, this can only be achieved by Faith.( Rom 9 6-12 )Gen 21 17-21, Gal 4 22-30

Hagar eventually was sent out with a loaf of bread and a bottle of water which ran out in the wilderness and was left with nothing for the baby, and she went and sat down over a distant of a bowshot and said "let me not see the death of the child and wept."

The Lord opened her eyes to see a well in the wilderness to satisfy and quench her thirst and that of the baby. God can make a way for you in your wilderness, even in the valley Isaiah 43-19, Psalm 84-6

Remember the woman at the well in John 4:14 and her conversation with Jesus when He requested of her some water and she refused, but Jesus promise to give her a better supply of spring that leads to eternal life. Of course Jesus told her more than she bargained for when the Lord prophetically told her secret relationships, she has had in the past and she feared and ran into the town becoming an evangelist " Come and see the Man that told me everything I have done"

Power of Persistency in Isaac Well
Isaac refuse to give up as the enemy tries to frustrate his attempt to dig a well with his men, from Ezek to that of sitnah until when he finally dig the well at Rehoboth and he said" for now the Lord hath made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land." and later Shebah also.

Don’t give up in whatever situations you may find yourself keep trying until you are able to record a success. Tough time never last but tough people they do, keep on dreaming another dream that can transport you from prison to the palace like Joseph. Isaac later waxed great and strong that he became envy to his enemies. So shall be your testimony, I thought I heard a loud Amen! It not over until it’s over.

The Well of Bethlehem.
David was in a hold having fought a lot of battles appear now tired and exhausted and long to drink water of a specific traditional well of Bethlehem and this well is situated at the back of the garrison of the Philistine army and 2 Sam 23 15-18 had a record of three great men of David not minding their lives broke into the midst of the Philistine armies to draw water from the well of Bethlehem.

They defiled the armies with their own blood not minding whether they live or die but stand to carry out the order of their commander. Do you obey the command of God in go ye to the world for Evangelism purpose? When last have you ministered to a soul to come to Jesus through salvation?

This herculean task of getting the water of Bethlehem cost the three men their blood, commitment to each other fighting with one hand in defense and holding the water in another hand. They must have let down one of them to draw the water while the others fight with one hand and holding the rope with another, and all through as they return to David. It is worth of note here that Great men are men of Prayer, commitment and focused.

Divine Well.
God is exhorting all here that we should not forget Him when you get to the land that is flowing with milk and honey. When you get to a fully furnished apartment you have not laboured for or provided by yourself and eat and are satisfied you should remember God for He is the Lord that gives Power to get wealth. We should serve Him in sincerity of heart and remember the Sabbath to keep it holy. (Deut 6-10-14)

For all the above blessings and your well of prosperity to open, you must:
