This is a very, very interesting question. Well, I would like to say sir, with due respect, that somebody like Timothy was a very young pastor in the bible. And there were people who were older than he was in his church at that time. And Paul was giving him (Timothy) instructions as to what to do in relating with people who are older.
This shows that in the church Timothy was pastoring, there were people who were older than he was, who were much more older than Timothy then. So, age is no deterrent. If you know that the word of God is there. That should not be the deterrent.
I also want to testify that in many of these churches you are referring to, there are people who are actually in their sixties. They are enjoying it. God is blessing them and there are learning many new things. They are also improving in their walk with the Lord.
I want to encourage you not be discouraged because most people who are there are young people. Don't be discouraged. You have not come because of anybody; you have come because of the Lord. Be there and let the Lord bless you richly.
