Hello sister,
I think we should be careful about how we contact 'men of God' in the name of knowing what God has in plan for us. If you love the man and your mind tells you to proceed, proceed. One thing you must have in mind is that no man or woman is perfect. It is certain that when you get married, you will have challenges. I don't know who sold that Christianity that our lives will be problems/challenges free?
Was it challenges free for Jesus, Paul, Peter, the Prophets, David, Abraham, etc? Who told you that problems will not come? So we must be ready to chose as we find and be ready to sort ourselves out when challenges come in marriage. No pastor should dictate your life for you because nobody dictated anything for them. Follow your mind, follow God.

I am in trouble today because a man of God told me that a particular man I hated (sorry for that word) is the man God ordained for me from heaven. When I was single and the man was following me in London, I always warned him to go back. One day, the pastor called me that he was the chosen one for me.
I believed the pastor and gradually, because I was also in search of husband then, I acquiesced and settle down with him. After two years in marriage, and an aborted pregnancy which nearly claimed my life, I found out that the man has married back in Nigeria with four issues!
This is the man a pastor told me God chose for me!
Of course I am in pains today and I am out of his house. All I want to say is we women should be careful about this so called men of God.
Be careful too. Don't fall into my mistake.

Pastors are just spiritual guides not masters of people lives, and they should be treated accordingly. African's tend to add too much to little things. We got to be more discerning.
