Back to main story

Could you please investigate this story properly and let us know the truth?
James Udolor,
Calabar Nigeria.

Your intro to the story shows that you are bias. Journalists should not take sides. Report the fact of the matter or shut up. The man in question CANNOT come here and tell us how to live.
Mills
England.

He is touching lives and he is touchin the money also!
Linda
London.

If the white man does not glorify God for the gift they have in Ashimolowo, the man should come back home. We love him here. And remember, Lagos is not the only state in Nigeria.
Matthew
Jos.

It is not suprising that Pastor Matthew is going through persecution. What else do you expect of a country where her youths know nothing about God? Anything gospel must certainly attracts the devil. May God strengthen Pastor Matthew.
Solomon Benson,
London.

The gates of hell shall not prevail over KICC. Amen
Yolanda Hills,

These allegations against a man of God is weighty. I think we need more details rather than the sentiments expressed here.
Manish
USA.

Please publish the pastor's response to these issues. Fair hearing is required here.
Don't give him a bad name so as to hang him. Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has touched lives across the world. And that is what matters to me.
Patience Akufo
Accra Ghana.

What is Pastor Matthew going through that other great gospellers have not gone through? He is only paying his dues. But let him react to these allegations.
Hellen Madison
Texas

I have heard of all these long ago. It was like a rumour then. But we need to know the truth of the matter. Has Pastor Matthew reacted to these? Is the British press unnecessarily full of hate or what?
Isong M. Ume.
Lagos Nigeria.

No matter the campaign of calumny, the gates of hell shall not prevail against him and the church. Amen.
Julius
Mafoluku,
Lagos Nigeria

I have read all the sentiments expressed here. I live in England and I see what some African pastors do here. The man must respond to these issues. Africans must be low on sentiments.
Nora Elton,
Manchester

Thank you Nora Elton. Africans cant change.
Wayne Liverpool.

No amount of self-justification can rub away people sentiments about people. We should all believe whatever we want to believe about Pastor Matthew. What I know is he touches me daily, he blesses me with his sermon, God is using him to repair homes, shape destinies and clarify the future. Since my husband left me, Ihave found companion in his sermons, hope in his direction and a new reason to live. I dont care what the British press or Nora Elton say about him. And this is not sentiment.
Milongo Ruth,
London.

Whatever is good must face challenges. That is the story of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo. Jesus faced persecution. Paul, John, Peter, etc. Why must our Matthew be different? Persecute him the more and he will come out like a shining star! Amen.
Abbey Adamolekun,
Jos Nigeria.
