Question:
Pastor, I was surprised when I saw a ministerial motorcade of ‘a man of God'. They were blaring siren and causing a lot of traffic disruptions. The car, which the ‘man of God' was in had a customized plate number. That must have cost quite some fortune. Do men of God really need all these excesses to effectively preach the gospel? |
Answer:
How would I answer this question without mentioning man of God, for example. It is impossible, totally impossible. Now when people are not doing right, they should be told about it. And if they are doing right they should be told as well. When a man of God begins to ride around like a politician, I will raise eyebrow. And I will wonder exactly where we are going. This to me again is another example of worldliness. We don't have to do our things the way it is done in the world.
A man of God is coming to town, he has quite a motorcade, a lot of siren is being blared. And so much noise is being made and causing obstruction and things like that. Jesus never operated like that. If He did that, then there would be no need for any Judas. So, this thing should be said. In fact, this thing puts off so many people. They look at us in a funny manner. And I think that we should amend our ways, rather than allowing people to be saying all kinds of things against us.
