Back to main story
I am an author and a member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (A.N.A.). While many of my members are shouting against 'THREE TIMES,' I have taken a critical look at the whole thing and decided to stay with the president, since i find it difficult to wave aside his achievements.
As an Economic student, we are proud of OBJ's achievements, and would want consolidation, that Nigeria may be firmly established. It would be disasterous to hand over to ethnically motivated interests, hence, every kobo might be spent and Nigeria reversed back to international indebtedness.
However, OBJ, must transfer technology to this country, resurrect Agriculture, find permanent solution to energy crisis, cancel that name-'power holding,' find a capital for the NIGER DELTA PEOPLE, and settle all grievances, insurgency, etc.; then, Nigerians would come to appreciate his leadership.
Francis A. Ushie,

I agree with you that the man must be a covenant child. How else can we explain all his successes?

Badagry Lagos
Covenant? We need a stronger evidence, not these hearsays.
Tade Matthew,
Abeokuta Nigeria.
Obasanjo is a convenent child. He must be a convenant child indeed. He has been so bold and invincible. He has gone and conquered where many powerfuls have feared to thread. God is surely on his side.
Wumi Isaac,
USA.
We do not need to glorify illegality. Obasamjo has doe so many criminal things in the name of 'we are still growing'. These constitutional crimes are very glaring to us all and we cannot wash themaway under any Christian covenants.
Bashiru Ali,
Benin Nigeria.
He must be a covenant child becasue I am often amazed that all that Obafemi Awolowo struggle for all his life without success. Obasanjo got effortlessly. But sadly enough, he does not know how to thank God. he has been reckless in most departments of life. He needs to give his life to Christ.
Mike Ibrahim,
Lokoja Nigeria.
How else shall we explain his successes if not for the favour of God? It is sad that he was trying to over stretch it by this botched third term bid but thank God for good counsel which prevailed at the end. Next time, he would not take Nigerians for granted.
Sam Olayemi,
Ikeja Lagos.
How does covenant come in in all of these? The man was damn lucky. You call it covenant, I call it luck.
Okonedo Oyo,
Ikeja Lagos. Nigeria.
This talk of covenant with God makes me uneasy. Can go make any covenant with a man like Obasanjo? Does he understands covenants? Now that his third term bid was defeated, where is the covenant? Someone should answer.
Mosunmola Ajao (Mrs.)
Ogbomosho NIgeria.
I think the word 'covenant' is being wrongly used here. God cannotcut covenant with Obasanjo. All his so called successes are mere flukes! Only Baba's apologists will agreee with this PR to paint him as a saint.
Danladi Idris,
Yola, Nigeria.
Now that third term has been defeated, where is the covenant? If there was one, he would have nicked it without these stress he put us all in. We need an apology from this anti-christ called Obasanjo.
