Bimbo Odukoya:
It is perhaps ironic that the editorial of the last edition was devoted to the victims of the Bellview air crash at Lisa in Ogun State. Much as we desired not to feature any obituary related editorial on this New Year edition, the passage of Pastor Bimbo Odukoya would not allow this.
Our editorial intention is to give thanks to God for all we have been able to accomplish online since June, 2005 till now. Bimbo's death nearly put some ashes on our mouth. But we refuse the lie of the devil. Rather than mourn Bimbo, we celebrate her life and passage. We do not act like people without faith. We are of good cheer concerning the life she lived. We are of good cheer concerning her manner of passage.
Thank You Lord for 2005:
When
I finally decided to publish online what I had intended to be a hard copy, I never knew that I would fall into such grace and ability to carry on effortlessly. In getting to where we are with this online magazine and plethora of other web sites, I must give thanks to God for being whom He is. His faithfulness I recognise daily. I am not worthy of His love but I got it by His grace. Thank you Lord.
In The Laws of Breakthrough, one of Matthew Ashimolowo's memorable sermons which encouraged me into what I am doing today, he said ... all you need in life to climb up have been created by God, and they are all around you waiting for your discovery of them... (Please get the tape)
Since I listened to this tape, I knew no fear in starting anything new because I have known that once I can imagine it, I can achieve it.
This month of January, I have single handedly produced four editions. No staff. No NEPA. No physical cash on the table to do anything. Just the faithfulness of God.
The magazine was intended to be a monthly publication. But the implications makes this impossible. The November edition was almost aborted. But God brought one Nora Kotz, a Phillipino based in Germany, who, without being solicited, credited our accounts from Germany.
This January edition also became another issue. But God brought one Elder J.K. Ogundeji
from Maryland USA. This child of God has been BOMBARDING us with inexplicable love. Come to think of it, people you don't know! This is God. Thank you God.
One lesson I have learned is that when God gives you a vision, He will give you the provision. You don't need any big sum to start anything. Faithful is He who promised.
