My call
My conversion was unusual. I was a Muslim and I was a very committed one. I just finished my morning prayers and I was reciting some portions of the quoran. But in the course of doing this, I saw the moon in a trance and I saw a very handsome man. The man started to move to where I was standing. As he was approaching me I could feel the power of God upon my life. He laid his hands upon me and I began to speak in tongues in the trance and then into real life. I was in my 30s when I had the revelation. I began to hear a voice in my heart thereafter. The voice gives me information about people around me and about myself. The voice is so clear and it gives me messages that are incredible. My conversion was so powerful and the hand of God was really upon me. There had been several instances of Gods power and manifestation in my ministry which time will not permit me to talk about.

Until you discover your office you cannot work effectively for God. A lot of people do not know why they are called that is why they have a lot of confusion in their ministry. When the Lord was about to commission me into the work I'm doing, the Lord opened my eyes and I saw His angels about 34 of them. Only their wings touched the ground and they surrounded me and I was in the background. All of them spoke at the same time and said, “the prophet of God.” Since that pronouncement, I have been operating in that ministry. The Lord has enabled me to operate several gifts of the Holy Spirit sometimes simultaneously.

I was working at the Ogun State television as an auditor. I started as a clerical officer and rose to the rank of an auditior. At that that time people used to come to me to hear what the Lord would say. In OGTV the Lord told me to tell the then GM that he was going to be relieved of his position and it was so. When we were waiting for the fruit of the womb and trusting God in my family, the Lord told me to tell my wife that she was going to conceive and when she conceives she won't know. And it happened that same way. We waited for three and half years before the Lord blessed us with the fruit of the womb. By the time my wife got pregnant, she didn't know.

Evil report
At times we pray against evil prophecies and there are times that we cannot stop such prophecies from taking place. That is when the prophecy had been executed in the spirit realm. If for instance there is a prophecy that somebody was going to be with the Lord, it is possible to pray and stop death from taking away the person. But there are some occasions that we will pray and nothing will happen. The person will die eventually. This could be for the single reason that the Lord wants to save the person from evil. The Lord says in His word that he would take away the righteous man away before the day of evil.

Between fake and genuine prophets

God told me one day that many pastors have entered into error. I don't call myself a prophet even though I operate in the office of a prophet. I prefer to be called a pastor because I'm yet to attain where God is taking me to. What we are experiencing now is just a shadow of what is to come. There are times I encounter great men of God in my dreams and the Lord use them to give me certain instructions. You must know who you are and what you do. The first thing that is required of a prophet of God is to fear and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. If you do that you will not speak heresy. I'm just a tool in the hands of the Lord. I'm a clay. When you recognize God as the source of your power, you will not be proud. The problem with many of our pastors is the love of the world. Many of them want to become like Adeboye and Oyedepo when there time has not come. We are operating under a commission and there is need to be subject to that commission.

I was brought up in C.A.C by pastor Sunday Ehinda. He is now the G.O of Pentecostal Gospel Assembly. He was the one that prophesied that the Lord was going to use me mightily. God gives him the grace to know what is happening in my life and that has served as a check to me. God has a way of telling me what people have done in the secret. There was a brother God told me that he had impregnated a woman and that pregnancy was four months. He was surprised. There have been several cases of people that God tell me about there sinful lives. I think God allows things like this to serve as check for this children and to prevent them from falling into sin. It serves as a check and enables one to live a holy and clean life.

Price for the gift

Nobody can buy the gift of God. The bible says the gift of God is without repentance. But the believer must not rest on his oars and say because he has the gift of God he will not exercise himself spiritually. In my case I have had to fast and pray regular to have more of God in my life. For instance, the Lord gave me the grace to fast and pray for one year. In fact I was holding vigil for a whole year. And my wife has been cooperating with me. I cannot explain how the grace was impacted on me. But I was in the church for a whole year praying and fasting. I was sleeping in the church on the mat. There was a time we did vigil for 255 days and we were even looking for the fruit of the womb at that time. I used to challenge myself every year and ask the Lord to give me more grace to wait on him. My system has become used to fasting. It has become part of my life.

How I joined the Redeemed Christian Church

I was in C.A.C and I had a revelation where I saw Pastor Adeboye sharing cake to some of his pastors. In that revelation he asked me to join. By that time the Lord called me out of C.A.C and asked me to join Redeem. And that was how I began. I went through all the classes. During the ordination, instead of being made a deacon for a start, I was ordained as Assistant pastor. I made a commitment since I became a pastor not to have anything to do with the money of the church. I don't take any money from the church purse. The only thing is to find out how much money is collected. But I don't touch church money because I don't want to be polluted. I will never lack and I don't borrow money. I do not have a kobo debt on my neck and I live the best of life. God has blessed me in an incredible way. God has been using people to meet my daily needs

Starting a ministry of my own?

I don't see myself leaving Redeem Church . If that is going to happen then Pastor Adeboye himself has to call me and said God spoke to him to ask me to go and start my own church. I think it is privilege to work for the Lord and for God to use my family it is a great blessing.

Reactions after my conversion

There were lots of reaction after I gave my life to Christ from the Muslim community. I think it was normal because many of them would not just understand why I had to change faith. But the point is that when God calls you, there is nothing you can do about it. Whey they also reacted was because I was visible in Islamic community. I was the one organising quaranic contest in Nigeria . Because of my commitment I brought fortune to a lot of Alfas. The reaction was much. But I don't like to go too much into that. We have passed that stage. God is helping us to grow in him. As a Muslim, I started fasting at the age of six and I had a way of blessing Muslims clerics. The joy is that many of my brothers in Islam have come to know Christ. The Lord has opened their eyes. But my mother is yet to come to. There was a time she was to be given a title in the Mosque and I told her that she wouldn't be able to get the title that something would happen a day to the time that had been scheduled for the title. She did not listen to me. Just a day to the time that they will do the ceremony, her own mother, my grandmother died. And the ceremony was stalled. Because of such pronouncements my family has come to realize the grace of God upon my life and I know there salvation is a matter of time. My mother once vomited three maggots at the front of the mosque after a word of prophecy for her. I'm trusting God that she would come to Christ. She is surrounded by some forces that are preventing her. That is why it has been difficult. But I know God is on the throne.

Difficult prophetic messages

I don't find it difficult to relay any message given to me by God. But I use wisdom to deliver some difficult messages. As a man of God I have a responsibility to tell people what God is saying. But it has to be done with tact. God told me about the air mishaps in the country. When I get such message, I relay it in the church and we pray. I don't get overwhelmed because God is the one doing His work.

Those who give to God's work

I'm more passionate about those who give to God's work and those that God use to bless me because their giving must not be in vain. I pay attention to them because it will be a disaster for them to commit their resources to things of God and still end up in hell. So when I see them doing the wrong thing, I fight them. When I say I fight them I mean I confront them and warn them to desist from the bad thing they are doing. If they go astray I will pursue them and ensure that they come back to the faith. I can't afford to receive blessings from people and watch them go to hell. It will be disastrous. There is no man of God that will open his eyes and allow people that are of blessing to the work of God end up in hell.
