I strongly agree with all you have said in your mail until when you said you have not attended a Church in the last for 5 months. I disagree with this and want to advise you to repent from such bad behaviour.
Whether you worship in a Church where their hair is watering down due to whatever jery curls or cream, once you are there but to worship God in truth and in the Spirit according to what the word of God says in John 4:24 and not conform with the world and copy their ways of dressing and oiling your bodies and hair in the same way ( Rom 12:1-3.) God will surely answer you, and you can still be in the narrow way leading to heaven, while here I am not judging that others may be in a big Church and still treading a broad part that leads to hell.
However the decision of your husband being the head is the final. Your husband may be smaller in stature like David and yourself very tall like Dorcas, He has the final say to where to worship and pray. You must refer to him always as the head and give him the honour. This is the secret of happy home un-ending.
But you must approach all things in love most especially when it require a change, and predominantly Spiritual matters.
I do recommend that Pentecostal Churches are heavenly minded if they are not only money conscious and dress conscious, but preach holiness, preach against sin, the coming judgment of Jesus Christ to judge sinners and the world at large, Evangelism, breaking of bread, water Baptism etc.
Refer to what I have earlier replied on this matter on this website. To say you will like to return back to the church you were coming from is unadvisable. I have had experience in such places before and can stay for the next hours writing about these experiences.
I hope to hear a change of your testimonies pls.
