It's only the Europeans that always say the truth while the black man lies a lot. The belief of the black man is that you must know how to perfect deceit and manipulate things in other to be able to " make it' in life.
In Deut 6:5 God released a command to man to love, this should be found in the heart of a man who is regeneted and has enthroned Jesus in his heart, the word of God ask him to love God wholeheartedly Jn 14:21.
The condition of man's heart can make or mar his destiny. It can determine his eternity and the kind of reward he will have in heaven. Though man can easily deceive his fellow man and get away with it but God can not be deceived for he knows the heart of every man.
We can see this from the life of David whom God asked Samuel to choose as ~ king for the nation Isreal from the family of Jesse, Samuel was looking at the physical appearance wanting to choose Eliab due to his countenance and stature but God saw through his heart and chose the one with a perfect heart i.e. David I st Sam. I 6:6 12.
There are many things that can affect a person even after giving ones life to Christ if one is careless not observing something or if one observes what should not be observed, so even a good heart can be defiled.
Mind the kind of people you company with. If you company with those who speak derogately or those who run others down, you are likely to be polluted. Even such people can be found in Church thus you need to beware of them.
Permit God's word in your heart Rom 10: I 7 when a person has no regard for the word of God, such a person can cause division and rebellion and such person cannever be fruitful but when you hear the word of God and allow it to mix with faith in your heart then it will lead you to tread God's path and things will work out for you, let your heart be a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:24-26. A child of God is expected to have a fleshy heart, a heart of obedience reflecting God, having the fear of God and easily receiving from God.
God wants you to be a channel of blessing to somebody and when you have a stony heart you can not be whom God wants you to be for God to cause his increase in your life. There is need to remove every hypocrisy and stains from your heart. The Lord has invested a lot in you and without you releasing yourself, you won't be able to manifest his glory in your life.
God has a lot of promises for those with a contrite heart
-Mt.5:8 You shall see God.
-Is 58:8 His glory shall be revealed in
your life -Ex 23:22, 25-27, Ps. 75: 11-15 God will fight your enemies, bless you and grant you good health.
If you want to have these and many more, ask the holy spirit to reveal to you the type of heart you have. If it is polluted permit his word to cleanse you, Heb 10:22, let every hardness be removed from your heart and ask God to give you a renewed mind, pure fleshy and a contrite heart. As you do this, you will have a better relationship with God. He will rise on your behalf and give you a new life with marvelous testimonies.
