A Christian home is an abode of family where the nuclear husband land wife, are believers. As the children are the fruits of the marriage, it is expected that they become Christian like their parents
(Ps 128:3, Act16:13).

Other possible members are maid servants and relations who stay temporary. The Chief executive of the home is the man, he is the father of the home. He is the visioner. His wife is the deputy helper, who is in-charge in his absence (Gen2: 18) Every Christian home is founded on the solid Rock -Christ Jesus (Matt7:24 - 25)

The man as the head, it had to be piloted with the leading of the Holy Spirit (Rom :14) for such home to be a happy one, stable and fulfilled there has to be love, peace, security, cooperation and wonderful harmony from all members. (Ps 133:1 - 3)

The father of the home has to make it work by putting into action wise planning to build the home, embrace the understanding of fabrics of simple human administration to establish the family's divine goal and apply knowledge that will carry the family along to attain both physical and eternal reward (PS. 24 3 - 4). The chief executives sole duty is to bring the family to the platform of glory ruled by the fear of God through executing these 5 scriptural projects.

1. Spirituality (Matt 6:33)
For the real love and harmony to exist, the father has to ensure that spiritual laws are kept even if some members are not believers of course he cannot force salvation down the throat of any one. He should introduce Christ to non believers and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them (In 16.8-9)

Fundamentally, the family altar is a point of contact to follow these cases and foe establishing Christian character in their love together with encouraging them attain outside fellowship – church (Heb 10:25).

2. Economics attainment (1 Tim 5 :8)
It is the divine duty of a man to provide for his family (2 Cor 12 : 14) The hard times has forced wives to become associate providers. They too should assist their husbands with joy and submission.

He has being to provide for the up keep and daily needs of the family to avoid the family being driven to beg or get stranded financially (Ps. 37. 25). All the responsibilities include sponsoring the education of the children providing for their wardrobes, shoes, feeding, sheltering etc. With time he is expected to build a house for the family (Pro 24 : 27).

3. Emotional Balance (2 Tim 1 :7)
The men have to be courageous by facing all problems of life and also build courage into all members of the family. It is not enough to cater for their bodies and spirit but also for their souls by teaching them to be shock - absorbers, trusting in God in all things (Ps. 112:7). Some families are so inmature emotionally that once the father is out of town, they panic over little things and make great mistakes because of fear. It should not be so in a family where the man is doing his job well (Pro. 24:10)

The men have to be courageous by facing all problems of life and also build courage into all members of the family. It is not enough to cater for their bodies and spirit but also for their souls by teaching them to be shock - absorbers,

4. Security Sustenance (Acts. 20:28-29):
One of the sacred duties is to protect the family from danger. He should have enough wisdom and money to defend the family from external forces (Ecc. 7:12). The house should be situated in a danger free zone as much as possible. Part of the money should be deployed to avoid some unnecessary dangers and embarrassments like buying car for easy conveyance to fellowship,

market, and home travelling etc. There are some home amenities that not only help to communicate God better, but also make life's work much easier -like electronics and some kitchen appliances. These can be purchased when the money is available. On security still there should be appreciable savings to counter emergencies and catering for the welfare of the family (Pro. 13:8)

5. Investment Ventures (Prov.19:14a)
For the future of the children when money begins to come in, the wise fathers should devote some of these monies to investing in some giant projects. They include buying of lands, houses and developing as many as possible. They can also put hand in some Insurance policies for the children's education buy shares from renowned companies. It may be wise to prayerfully invest in some business ventures like supermarkets, Business center's, industries etc. (Eccl. 11 :2, 6).

Note that these five important projects are not readily provided in some genuine Christians to financial constraints. Nevertheless every father should make sure that his responsibilities that are not monetarily inclined are faithfully carried out and also aim at reaching the financial as God blesses the work of his hands. May God help you fathers to leave behind quality inheritance for your children's children (Pro. 12:22), Amen.

Finally, this message is not complete if spiritual investment is left out God expects us to sow appreciable seed into His eternal business. God's work should not suffer when we have enough to bless our families and accumulate surplus.
