This is something that I found very disturbing. Even Christians are talking and thinking like heathens. Who created the ss child? Is it not God? I am ss married for 17yrs and in my early 40s. I am a father of 3 healthy kids. I have 3 university degrees and what we tell people is that through the grace of God, we are sickle cell defiers not surferers. I have a brother who is very successful and a ss with an as wife. They have 4 lovely and very bright ss kids and those kids will lead their generation without fail in God's name. Ralph ignorance is a disease. There is now medical advancement that when you marry the lady in question, you can screen and select the foetus with an as gene. What more? ss adults are now living to their ripe old ages. I have an uncle who is ss and a Professor in his late 60's and countless other examples abound.
