Psalm 127:1 reads "Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." This is true of every life, project and nation. Talking about our nation, Nigeria , it would certainly take God to build this nation or any other nation into what He intended it to be. He created it and has sustained it this far. Situations of diverse kinds that had threatened the peace and stability of our great nation had arisen but we have prevailed.

Many waters have passed under the bridge, many precious lives lost but this nation still stands. I make bold to declare that it is not by anything we have done but by the mercies and grace of God because of the plan He has for this nation. God is building this nation. God has blessed this nation not only with mineral resources but also with human resources; gifted and talented men and women. The assets of every nation are the people. You wonder why then things are not working by the book and why the whole nation is in such a state of bedlam and decadence. It has been said when you don't know the purpose of a thing, abuse is inevitable. This is the case; people without the knowledge of the sovereign God, are being made to head affairs that affect the lives and well being of people and we expect things to function well. This is impossible.

A Blessed Nation
God has a purpose for blessing this nation and it is not for us to wallow upon but it is for His divine and eternal purposes. Our gifts and talents are not for us to hoard wealth for ourselves at the expense of others and the nation, but rather for the building of lives.

The nations rage and the people plot a vain thing the Bible says, and all this is to keep the plan and purpose of God from coming to pass. The King James version uses the word 'heathen' for people and that is the reason they rage and plot vain things; they are without the true knowledge of God.

The god of this world occupies the seat of the mind of people and drives them like a rider would ride a horse to accomplish his evil plans which we see in the forms of corruption, greed, immorality and wickedness but God sits in Heaven and laughs. Why would He laugh? He laughs because He is sovereign and omniscient and is always ever ahead of the devil. He laughs because He has a plan. He has sent Jesus Christ His son to redeem the whole world and as many that will accept Him as Lord and savior He has made kings and priests that will work out their salvation with fear and trembling and show forth His praises.

It will surprise you, to find out how many people your decision will touch and affect and the truth is that you will not know the full extent in this life until eternity. Enough of talking about it, let's start to implement it.

He laughs because there's going to be the manifestation of the sons of God. Do you sense a burden within you for change in this nation and do you have a passion for the will of God to be done in this nation? It is all because you are part of the big plan. Yes, you can start by giving your life to Christ if you have not already done so. Repent of your sins and those of your ancestors today and begin to live victoriously and righteously doing things the right way regardless of how anybody or society does it.

Enough of talking about it, let's start to implement it. Too many people are talking but very few are working. What the LORD requires of you is to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8). No one is exempted from this.

The Lord Jesus is exalted to the right hand of the Father. He has all power in heaven and on earth, and is head over all things. So the church with strength, courage and boldness should confront the kingdom of darkness and with one voice cry out to God - 'thy Kingdom come O Lord.' God said in Psalm 2:8 "Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance" Nigeria shall be His possession; a home of justice and a mountain of holiness for he shall turn our captivity around and bring full restoration. Remember, we must be involved and lay aside our differences.
