HOW TO DISAGREE WITH YOUR PASTOR:
I think this is a great contribution to Church development. This topic has never been discussed publicly before anywhere and we young pastors view disagreements with our senior pastors as a sin, even when it is obvious that the senior pastor is going wrong and he needed to be checked.
In my former church, my pastor began a strange philosophy or doctrine of asking congregation to touch his leg and they will receive anointing. He said this is a work of the prophet, after all, touching Jesus garment, Peters shadow, etc healed people. The funniest thing is that the church member rushed to do it.
The problem in this is not just the senior pastor but the congregation, many of whom are fools in the name of Jesus. The entrance of the word into their lives do not bring light. Many Christians, so called Christians, are fools. May God deliver us. Thank you Akin John.

Akin John missed some points. If you think we could leave the church if our disagreements are irreconcilable, what about the church members who are deceived and need to be told the truth? Let me give you some examples:
My former senior pastor was in habit of using siren anytime he comes to Lagos. I have always viewed the use of siren by people who should not as a sin. My senior pastor does so many things like speaking to impress people. Some of the miracles and statements he claims about the Church are not exactly so, at least this i know. And I know that to cooperate with lies is to be guilty of it. I often found myself speaking against this wrong use of siren and some people in the church told him. While he knows he was wrong, he was not ready to accept this. Now, Church members think it was right that he uses siren.
If we disagree with senior pastors, we should let the church know the reason we are leaving so they could decipher the truth and be a better judge.

Rather than fight our pastors, we need to cooperate. If we fight, we will help the devil to defeat the particular church. Dr. John was right on his prescription


Travails of Pastors:
On a Prayer mpountain where I went to pray recently, the preacher said there are some married pastors here who are still sleeping with church members. If such people want to be delivered, they hould come forth. I was surprised that many people came forth. I was shocked that such things happen in church! We need to pray for our pastors o.
