I cannot wait for his interview.

I always wonder what the church would have looked like today if Idahosa was alive. Having stampeded Nigerian Christianity out of slumber and poverty thinking, how he would have preached modesty remains a mystery to me. But he is gone, too bad. God knows best.
Isaac Anumihe,
Enugu.
Talking seriously, cant we hold Idahosa responsible for the rot in Christianity in Nigeria today, especially the Pentecostal brand with their over focus on prosperity and miracles? Bishop Oyedepo is in this league. They genuinely seek to liberate people but like Idahosa, have failed to preach patience in our drive. These prosperity preaching is responsible for the better part of corruption we see in Churches today. Idahosa's method brought flamboyance and exuberance into the Church.
Idahosa, so to say, fought the Scripture Union (SU) tradition that was taking root in Nigeria in the late 1970's. While the SU were moderate, Idahosa was flamboyant. I witnessed all these while I was a student at University of Ife in the late 70's to early 80's. Today, we cannot manage the church again. We have simply lost control. If Idahosa were alive, I wonder how he would have felt seeing what is happening. I think all Idahosa's apostles and spiritual children, like Ojo, Rev Mike, Omobude, Obada, Oritsejafor, etc should work hard to clean the table of the ugly fall-outs of the prosperity preachings left behind by their father, Idahosa.

It was painful he died but God called him home in good time so he could not fall.
St. Matthew,
Idaho. What is currently happening in Idahosa's Church? I hope the Church is still in tact. Please give us an interview with his wife, Mrs Maggie Idahosa,

Since he left, no one has proved to have his influence. In deed, he was the father of Nigeria's pentecostal Christianity. I would have loved him to be alive to see what they have made of pentecostalism and Christianity.
Blessing Etim,
Benin.
Idahosa is gone. Let us talk of the present.
Patrick Ilosa
London.
While the man did his best to save us from poverty mentality from his pulpit, so many people could not fully comprehend his sermons. What we make of his prosperity sermons today is despicable. We now have a monster on our hands. Everybody wants to be a pastor because they saw flamboyance from Idahosa.
