This venue plays host I regularly to hundreds of thousands people seeking the face of the God of Elijah - the God that answers by fire. The event which ushered in the New Year was spectacular in everyway.

The General Overseer of the fast-growing - ministry passionately warned the congregation about the dire consequences of a sinful life. Olukoya believes that every true Christian cannot afford to be complacent in 2007. Dr. Olukoya unveiled some prophetic events that will characterise the year 2007. He harped on the need for consistent prayers. Below are excerpts of his prophetic utterances for the year.

"2006 is gone we thank God... We praise His name for sparing our lives to this day. Let us look at the prophetic view of this year...before I go into those things that will mark this year out, what I'd like to do first is to list for you strategies that will guarantee your success and safety this year. Let me start with the solution, because, Mountain of Fire is a place of solution."

Strategies For Success and Protection In 2007
1. Get the walls of divine defence around your life...make it a constant prayer this year.

2. Always keep your word; maintain your integrity. Let your 'yes' be yes and your 'no' be no.

3. Focus on giving rather than getting, and you'd ultimately attract great blessings.

4. Decide in your heart that anything less than excellence will depart from your life this year.

5. Don't be an expert at grumbling and complaining.

6. This year, never tell lies to anyone.

7. Never begin or spread rumour or gossip or negative comments about anyone.

8. This year, listen 85% and speak 15%, then you'd learn more and your life will change.

9 . Don't waste your precious time being occupied with what people are thinking about you. Rather be more concerned about what God thinks about you.

10. Keep working on yourself. Make commitments to grow daily.

11. Change the realm of your prayers; pray the Elijah kind of prayer.

12. This year, persevere. Don't give up. Life will either bury you or bless you; you may decide that it should bless you...stand firm, never give up.

13. If you have not already done so, discover and pursue your divine destiny.

14. This year, be humble; let humility be your watchword. Run away from pride.

15. Anger must die. The devil discovered one small weakness in the life of Moses...and he could not enter the Promised Land.

If you follow these strategies beloved, you'd be able to stay safe and secure, and guarantee success for yourself in this very, very interesting year.

Now, what does this year hold? What I'm going to say now, they are a bit coded... let him that hath ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. For everything I'm going to say now, God has one leg in the territory of judgment and another leg in the territory of mercy, and, we need prayer.

If I say anything now that you think is terrible, all those things can still be' averted with intense and concentrated prayers...the problem comes when the people that are supposed to pray the prayers are nowhere to be found.

4. This will be a year of very strange friends; a year of heavyweight Judases and Ahitophe1s. Be careful...

5. This is a year we need unsanitised, unashamed and violent prayers to avert disasters.

6. This will be a year of deliverance of many from great afflictions.

7. This is a year to become God's friend, like Moses and Abraham.

8. A year of clashing of weapons; a year of arms and weapons.

9. This will be a year of strange movements and major shakings, nationally and internationally...great shakings and quakings.

10. It's a year of revival and uncommon outpouring of theHoly Spirit.

11. It's a year when God will cause His faithful children to move to very high places; God will remove those who are blocking the way so that His children can rise.

12. Many thrones of iniquity shall topple and collapse.

13. God will shake loose wicked structures that are in many parts of the world. He will shake them loose completely. People would see that the Lord is indeed God in the kingdom of men.

14. Night watches will yield dividends to prayer warriors this year.

15. Many long-term test and trials will produce uncommon testimonies.

16. Divine weapons for divine judgment will begin to take aggressive action on earth.

17. The Lord will begin to balance the scales this year, and His judgment will begin to manifest.

18. It's a year when the believer will take back what the enemy has stolen; a year of recovery.

19. It's a year of holy confrontations. Listen beloved: the conflict that is assigned to hinder your future shall be settled.

20. Be careful beloved, this is also a year of unbelievable seductions; evil doctrines will begin to rise.

21. This will be a year of divine surprises, particularly on the political scene. What will happen will shock many to a point of coma. Those that are so confident will have their confidence shaken away.

22. This will be a year of transfer of wealth for Kingdom advancement and a big blow on the demon of mammon.

23. This is a microphone year. Everything will be louder and more pronounced than it used to be.

24. A year of positive and negative exclamation.

25. This will be a year of disgrace for those who are mixing Christianity with witchcraft and other things, because, the synagogue of satan shall be scattered.

26. A year of strange political bedfellows, and, these strange political bedfellows will eliminate themselves.

27. Those going to the grave to receive power in order to fight the children of God, if they go this year, they shall not return. Mark these words beloved.

28. It is a year of disgrace for children killers and those-who are committing abortions.

29. It is a year of divine compensation for God's children.

30. This is a year of monumental failure for those who trust 'in satanic powers, because, their fetish powers will fail them.

31. If you must do business this year and you want the business to prosper, it must be founded on integrity this year. This year, many businesses shall disappear, that arc not founded on integrity.

32. Unfortunately, the enemy is bringing out a new agenda of terror, and drinkers of blood and eaters of flesh. But, they that trust in the Lord shall be saved.

33. It is a year of unbelievable brainwashing.

34. Any political plan or scheme that is not in line with the mind of God will collapse, no matter the individuals involved.

These, in a nutshell are what I am allowed to tell you for now. More things will unfold as we go on.

This is a very special year; it ends with a 7. All 7s are dear to God. Seven is linked with completion, with rest, with perfection, with bringing to an end. 7 is the number the Lord uses to represent the Holy Spirit

For us here at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, the Lord has said that we should declare this year as, "A year of uncommon favour and Open Heaven Breakthroughs." This year we'd have uncommon favours and, wherever you go, there will be open heavens as written in Genesis 28.

We are declaring this year as a year of evangelism. Like I have said at the beginning, intensive prayers, concentrated prayers, unsanitized prayers, unashamed prayers...i~ needed this year more than last year. It is a year standing on two legs, carrying two swords: negative and positive.
