A 31-YEAR-OLD man who claimed to be an Accra-based minister of the Methodist Church, miraculously healed a madman in Kumasi on Wednesday, December 20 after laying hands on him. This miracle took place near the Wesley Methodist church round-about at Adum, the central business district of the Kumasi metropolis. |

The madman, identified only as Raman, who was said to be a former resident of Anloga, a suburb of Kumasi, had his long unkempt hair shaved and clothing changed, immediately after the healing.
Raman could however not speak to Daily Guide. This was because of the obvious reason that he did not have the flair for the Twi and English languages.
The pastor, who gave his name in an interview with Daily Guide as Williams Odartey Mills, said the spirit of the Lord ministered unto him to lay his hands on the madman.
According to Pastor Odartey Mills, God used him to perform this miracle a day after he had touched down in Kumasi to do the work of his Master, who had sent him to the city.
“Let me tell you; I did not heal this man, but God, who used his power invested in me. I have never known this man or met him before. Today is my first time of encountering him,” he told Daily Guide.
He lifted up his hands and gave thanks to the Almighty God for using him to heal a madman; a miracle which eyewitnesses described as first of its kind to be performed in the Kumasi metropolis.
This miracle attracted hundreds of people from all walks of life including hawkers, workers of the HFC Apex Bank and SG-SSB Bank, as well as personnel of the Prisons and Police services.
As news of the miracle was broadcast on the airwaves, several people from various parts of the city were seen rushing to catch a glimpse of the madman and the pastor.
This created a heavy traffic jam on the road networks in the area.
